Probation Officer/Community Youth Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Probation Officer/Community Youth Worker in our Regina office.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing programs and services to adults and young offenders. As a Probation Officer/Community Youth Worker, you will work closely with adolescents and adults in a diverse and inclusive setting, addressing their unique needs and circumstances.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement case management plans to support clients in achieving their goals and overcoming challenges.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote client safety.
- Collaborate with community agencies, organizations, and government personnel to provide comprehensive support services.
- Compose and complete court and violation reports, community collateral, and curfew checks.
- Perform home and community assessments to identify client needs and develop effective interventions.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a degree in human services or a related field, such as social work, indigenous social work, human justice, education, arts, justice studies, psychology, sociology, criminology, police studies, or indigenous studies. You will also have a strong understanding of theories and intervention strategies, including cognitive behavioral programming, and be able to work effectively with diverse populations.
