About the Role:

The Service Employee plays a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our school bus fleet. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, oil changes, and basic repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all school buses are properly fueled and maintained, adhering to strict safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct daily inspections of buses to identify and address any potential issues.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, filters, and other essential components.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Department to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, maintenance activities, and other relevant data.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic knowledge of bus maintenance and repair principles.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment.
