About the Role:

The Service Employee plays a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our school buses. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, oil changes, and minor repairs. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the buses are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, oil changes, and minor repairs
  • Conduct daily inspections of buses to identify any potential issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and fuel consumption
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all buses are in good working condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Location Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of bus maintenance an asset
  • Ability to learn maintenance skills
  • Valid driver's license an asset
  • Vehicle fueling, cleaning, and detailing experience a plus
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently and ensure safety
  • Good communication skills
