Senior Transportation Structural Engineer

Within the Horizontal Infrastructure Business Unit, you will engage in diverse projects that foster economic advancement and community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as project manager, structural authority, and designer for engineering tasks
  • Oversee transportation structural inspection projects
  • Collaborate with clients and various disciplines
  • Assess and determine suitable design solutions for transportation structures
  • Draft technical documentation, tender proposals, and budget estimates
  • Engage in business development and proposal creation
  • Participate in team progress discussions to ensure successful project execution
  • Operate within designated projects and timelines

Required Qualifications:

  • BASc or B.Eng. in civil or structural engineering
  • P. Eng. designation with over 10 years of experience in managing transportation structure projects
  • Proficiency in proposal and report composition, asset management, and project oversight
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of bridge inspection software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting and guide junior staff
