Job Title: Scientist - Bioanalysis

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist - Bioanalysis to join our team at ITR Laboratories Canada. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing bioanalytical LC-MS/MS assays, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring compliance with GLP regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize bioanalytical LC-MS/MS assays for research and development purposes.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to mass spectrometry and develop innovative solutions.
  • Conduct analytical pre-clinical and clinical studies in compliance with GLPs, SOPs, and industry best practices.
  • Provide research project planning and deliver on-time solutions.
  • Interpret, analyze, document, and report results on analytical projects.
  • Coordinate results with clients, consultants, and study directors.
  • Generate reports and ensure any deviations or exceptions are acceptable.
  • Stay up-to-date with pertinent regulatory developments in the industry.
  • Write, review, and apply relevant SOPs.

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related field.
  • Scientific industry experience in project management.
  • Excellent understanding of bioanalytical analysis and associated regulations.
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation (LC-MS/MS).
  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in data interpretation and report writing.
  • Bilingual English/French.
