About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at A Child's World Family Child Care Services of Niagara. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Design and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
    • Develop and lead activities that encourage creativity, imagination, and learning.
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
    • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers to ensure the well-being and safety of children.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Engage with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure effective communication.
    • Collaborate with the team to plan and implement programs that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist in maintaining accurate records and reports.
    • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
    • First Aid Certificate.
    • CPR Certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Punctuality and dependability.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to multitask.
    • Reliability and team player.
  • Work Environment
    • Physically demanding work environment.
