Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at LEARNING TREE CHILDCARE CORPORATION. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • Engagement and Activities: Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Health and Safety: Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Progress Monitoring: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
