What is the opportunity?
An exciting opportunity to join as an Analyst as a Sales Trader covering North America.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
- Gain a good understanding of the Global Equities business
- Undertake and pass all required regulatory and exchange exams and registrations.
- Business development with prospective and existing European-based clients.
- Help with evaluation and integration of new technologies.
- Daily coverage of clients to further educate them on best practices when using RBC algorithms.
- Guidance and participation in the development of the Electronic Trading product.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Education and/or Experience:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Strong financial knowledge background
- General Technology Understanding.
- Proven experience in a sales trading role
- Previous experience in U.S Equities

- Strong Ethics.
Technical
- Understanding of basic computer software.
- A technical/logical mindset.
- Understanding of basic programming skills an advantage.

- Higher Education with a slant towards finance/economics.
- Certified Person
- Work experience with Financial Services companies useful.
