We are seeking a visionary, passionate, customer-obsessed, highly analytical Sr. Product Manager in the Digital Product Innovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of digital product strategy in the DHL eCommerce logistics value chain. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Solutions, Product strategy, Customer Service, and the Postal Operations team. You will develop an end-to-end understanding of business, technical, and operational flows. You will use this knowledge for addressing business challenges, customer requirements, and compliance needs to build new digital products, product features, and customer integration tools that allow the accessibility of our portfolio to all stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build an understanding of our customers, our business, and our industry. Continuously stay updated with industry trends and advancements to keep our digital products at the forefront of innovation.
2. Develop deep expertise in DHL eCommerce digital products, including APIs, web applications, B2B applications, and integration to backend applications that support customer-facing interfaces. Provide technical leadership and guidance on these products, ensuring they meet business needs and drive customer satisfaction.
3. Lead the research, analysis, design, digital product concept, and technical go-to-market plan for the new Products in the portfolio as part of our Limitless Growth Strategy.
4. Independently shepherd new digital products through ideation, design, implementation to go-live and post go-live hyper care support and feedback.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners such as third-party vendors (3PVs) and other DHL Business Units (BUs) acting as the go-to resource for offering insights and solutions to complex technical challenges.
6. Oversee the full API lifecycle from design, development, and testing to deployment, monitoring, and retirement. Ensure APIs are designed for scalability, reliability, and security, and align with business and technical requirements.
7. Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for API versioning, documentation, and governance. Continuously evaluate and improve API performance and facilitate the migration from legacy systems to modern web service-driven architectures.
8. Support the Solutions Engineering and onboarding teams with navigating customer requirements, serving as an advocate to help accelerate the adoption of new API capabilities among customers and partners. Provide technical expertise and guidance during the onboarding process, helping to troubleshoot issues and streamline implementation.
9. Facilitate the migration and onboarding of new customer-facing web applications by providing expert guidance and support to implementation and customer service teams. Actively listen to the voice of the customer to gather valuable feedback and insights, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
10. Integrate customer feedback, internal stakeholder input, market research, and industry trends to uncover new product features and capabilities.
11. Prioritize these opportunities within a product roadmap that aligns with the broader product strategy, ensuring a cohesive and forward-thinking development plan.
12. Develop a thorough understanding of internal operational movement, billing processes, customer visibility, and reporting mechanisms. Leverage this knowledge to enhance product functionality, streamline operations, and improve overall customer experience.
13. Evaluate multiple requirements and prioritize them using a framework that considers customer impact, revenue potential, cost optimization, product stability, and strategic initiatives. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with strategic goals and drives business growth.
14. Manage a small team of Product and Business Analysts to act as the cross-functional IT product demand owner, conveying end-to-end business requirements to the software engineering team through storyboards, process flows, and user stories/epics. Own Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) to validate that solutions meet business needs and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

1. Experience delivering customer-facing B2B software products and services in a high-growth environment, preferably in the eCommerce logistics space.
2. Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
3. Demonstrated experience in working with and integrating eCommerce platforms, including web platforms and marketplaces.
4. Proven experience in solutioning order management, fulfillment, delivery, and returns processes and systems.
5. Strong technical knowledge and familiarity with web services as part of an integrated ecosystem.
6. Experience managing storyboards, wireframe development, and potential prototyping.
7. Expertise in creating written reports, proposals, processes, and project documentation.
8. Proven experience in the design, planning, and development of REST web services or APIs in JSON or XML.
9. Understanding of basic UI/UX design concepts.
10. Detail-oriented with the ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with limited supervision.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

1. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree is a plus. (logistics-related or computer science-related a plus).
2. 8+ years of professional work experience with 5+ years of product management experience in shipping software products and integration solutions.
3. Experience in coordinating product development cycles and software development schedules in the release of products to market.
4. Experience in leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of products/services on tight schedules.
5. Demonstrated experience in the eCommerce or Retail industry.
6. Proven technical discipline preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
2. Regular sitting at workstation for 25 – 75% of the work shift.
3. Frequent standing and walking.
4. Travel as needed (up to 15%).

Annual Salary of $111,690-$157,700. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include but are not limited to your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
