The Opportunity
We are looking to add a full-time Digital Marketing Assistant to our growing team. In this role, you will help ensure campaigns are executed across key touchpoints, with a primary focus on social media and related digital platforms. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you will support social media planning and publishing, contribute to strategy development, manage the content calendar, write and refine copy and messaging, and coordinate campaign rollouts. You will also monitor social trends, support analytics tracking, compile performance recaps, and ensure all creative assets are received, processed, and delivered to the appropriate channels according to plan.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams to plan content themes and build an execution plan across social channels.
- Support the wider marketing team with campaign planning, creative briefs, and scheduling.
- Lead the development and implementation of the existing social media strategy.
- Own the marketing campaign calendar and coordinate execution across social media.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the social media audience.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and emerging best practices.
- Aid in monitoring and researching industry trends and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with the Creative Lead and Graphic Designer to create required assets.
- Create and curate engaging and relevant content to increase user engagement across social platforms.
- Work with retail teams to create staff video content.
- Assist with blog post creation.
- Create and schedule weekly email mailers.
- Schedule and publish posts across all social media platforms.
- Lead the coordination of social media promotions and events.
- Ensure creative assets are received, processed, and delivered to the appropriate channels according to plan.
- Monitor brand reputation across social media and identify effective ways to interact with customers.
- Support reputation management strategies and improve customer engagement.
- Help manage and monitor social media analytics to track engagement, growth, and performance.
- Prepare social, mailer, and e-commerce reporting for co-op campaigns.
- Other responsibilities as the role develops.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of digital marketing experience spanning organic social, content creation, and digital campaign execution.
- Highly organized and resourceful, with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Proficient with digital tools including Google Analytics, Klaviyo or similar ESPs, social scheduling platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite), Shopify, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of key marketing metrics (e.g., impressions, CPM, CPA).
- Knowledge of marketing channels, routes to market, and digital advertising.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
- Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and a proactive, get-things-done mindset.
- Demonstrates a culture of ownership, creativity, growth, and collaboration.
- Familiarity with design, photo/video editing, and/or Google Analytics
- Knowledge of the retail, sneaker or street fashion industry
