We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Manager, Blue Box Value Chain. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of producer responsibility regulatory compliance and circular economy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Manager, Blue Box Value Chain will be responsible for ensuring all contract requirements are met and the chain of custody of Ontario Blue Box materials is tracked and verified. This will involve working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including the Common Collection System (CCS) Operator/Administrator, post-collection service providers, and Ryse Solutions' compliance and business analysis team members.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, as well as strong analytical and project management abilities. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of Blue Box recyclable materials processing experience
  • At least 3-5 years of performance monitoring, operational improvement, and contract administration
  • University/College degree in business administration, operations, environmental management or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including senior executives, operational personnel, and vendors/service providers

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly throughout Ontario, using their personal vehicle, and hold a valid driver's license.
