eTracks Tire Management Systems is currently recruiting for the position of Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor.

Mandate of the Role

Reporting to the Director, Operations & Programs, the Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor plays a lead role in planning, developing, establishing and optimizing the supply chain network consisting of tire collectors, tire haulers, tire processors, the consolidation network, the switch trailer program and in some cases, the end manufacturers, required to ensure eTracks' customers' obligations are met.

The Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor will identify the resources required to move end-of-life tires (ELT's) from the collection points through the supply chain to manufacture tire-derived-products (TDP's).

How the Mandate will be Fulfilled

Working in a cross-departmental manner, you will evaluate and analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of the network and help source and engage suppliers/service-providers required to enhance eTracks' supply chain network.

You will ensure a smooth transition of newly developed supplier/service-provider relationships from the Supplier Management team to the Stakeholder Relationships team, and you will help develop supplier/service-provider audit & compliance plans. You will play a lead role in driving efficiency (cost, quality, time) within the network and help manage changes within the evolving tire recycling industry.

As a successful candidate you will possess process engineering and/or supply-chain background, strong communication and analytical skills.You can work in a fast-paced environment, embrace change and ambiguity, able to develop and recommend enhanced practices and processes, and you are detail oriented and highly organized. You will also be responsible for managing a small scheduling team who will lean on you for direction, coaching and support.

Core Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

- Post-secondary education in process engineering, supply-chain logistics management, operations management or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Logistics / Supply-chain (preferred).
- Good knowledge of the Ontario tire industry and applicable legislations (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Demonstrated program management experience.
- Has extensive knowledge of transportation planning, warehousing operations, logistics optimization, procurement, inventory management and experience with regulatory compliance challenges and regulations.
- Strong understanding of business process and market principles.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and creative and willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Demonstrated ability to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the supply-chain.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure capacity to handle various projects and to prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Persuasive and articulate.
- Excellent collaboration skills to team with internal and external resources as appropriate.
- Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and assist your direct reports/team, as required
- Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products.

Essential Attributes for Success

Supply Chain Network Evaluation, Planning, Development & Management

You will develop an intimate understanding of the end-of-life tires'(ELT) regulatory requirements, and you will help develop the supply chain strategy required for eTracks to meet our customers' obligations.

You will manage the supply chain network projects, resolves issues and problems within the network and ensure continuous improvement in the process, cost, and quality within the network.

You will drive operational excellence via efficient supply chain network design by identifying initiatives for savings, service improvement and reporting. With a good understanding of the areas for potential fraud and/or errors of reporting, you will help develop procedures to minimize opportunities for fraud and/or reporting errors.

You will develop relationships and provide operational escalation support to our suppliers/service providers ensuring that the systems and practices are in place to identify and mitigate all types of risks.

You will respond to queries from the eTracks Management team and analyze and resolve complex issues as they arise.

Procurement

You will maintain supplier/service-provider qualification standards by developing the tools, processes and performance measures in order to evaluate possible service providers.

You will assess critical supplier performance and risks and help negotiate terms with our suppliers/service-providers.

You will help establish strategic plans unique to each supplier with action plans to drive commercial resolution, supplier cost reductions, improvements to payment terms and ensure supplier performance to contracts.

You will help develop and execute a means for cost recovery from suppliers which are not performing to expected levels, including but not limited to disruption costs and increased costs incurred as you lead and/or participate in regular business reviews with our suppliers/service-providers.

Business Process and Stakeholder Analysis

You will quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of eTracks by Identifying the strengths and weaknesses in processes related to our Stakeholders and you will provide suggestions for areas of improvement.

You will effectively communicate system and/or program design changes to Stakeholder as you help drive organizational and industry-wide change.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 annual commensurate with experience and skillset.
