Our Data Center Design Engineering team is seeking an exceptional Mechanical Design Engineering Manager to drive transformative mechanical design solutions across the Asia-Pacific region. You'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation data center technologies, shaping critical infrastructure that powers global cloud computing.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead and develop a high-performing mechanical design engineering team across the Asia-Pacific region
- Drive the team's global design consistency and standardization of mechanical systems across multiple geographical regions
- Manage and approve mechanical equipment innovations and design submissions
- Establish robust processes for internal design development and third-party vendor management
- Oversee procurement and technical specifications for mechanical Owner Furnished Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment
- Manage team reporting, hiring, growth opportunities, annual goal reporting, KPIs and performance reviews

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive experience in mission-critical design
- Proven track record in project management
- Experience managing a team of mechanical engineers

Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license
- Comprehensive understanding of data center design and critical equipment
- Expertise in building codes and regulations across the Asia‑Pacific region
- Experience with fast‑track design and complex upgrade projects
- Strong ability to develop and communicate complex technical business cases
