🌟What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Digital Advertising Manager who will own Makeship’s paid media strategy across Meta and Google, with additional platforms as needed, driving profitable growth and improving ROAS through smart optimization and creative testing. We’re seeking a strategic, hands‑on marketer who thrives in fast‑paced environments and loves turning performance data into clear actions. As a Digital Advertising Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing and collaborate with the Brand, Digital, and Growth teams to lead campaign execution, analyze results, and build scalable systems that fuel Makeship’s next stage of growth.

🚀Your Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Optimization

- Plan, launch, and optimize high-volume paid media campaigns (40–60 per month, average 28-day cycles) across Meta, Google, YouTube, Reddit, and Discord.
- Own ad budget allocation, pacing, and performance management within approved guardrails.
- Develop, test, and refine creative briefs and ad variations to optimize CTR, CPA, and ROAS in partnership with the Brand team.
- Manage full-funnel targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies to maximize conversion performance.
- Implement and maintain campaign tracking and attribution via GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Events Manager, and Triple Whale.

Data & Reporting

- Build and interpret dashboards in Triple Whale and Looker Studio to monitor performance daily and weekly.
- Deliver monthly roll‑up reports with curated insights, trend analysis, and actionable next steps.
- Partner with RevOps to improve attribution accuracy, data flow, and forecasting models.

Creative Strategy & Collaboration

- Lead creative concepting and storyboarding for video and YouTube campaigns across awareness, consideration, and conversion stages.
- Identify high‑performing CTAs, hooks, and headlines; codify learnings into best practices for use across Marketing.
- Collaborate with Brand, Growth, and Social to align ad messaging with organic and email channels for full‑funnel consistency.

Agency Management

- Manage agency partners for overflow and channel‑specific support, ensuring campaign briefs, creative QA, pacing reviews, and learnings are effectively shared back to the internal team.

Leadership & Development

- Coach and mentor the Junior Digital Marketer to execute campaigns effectively and build performance marketing skills.
- Support the Email Lead with strategic insight and cross‑channel collaboration.
- Document and refine processes that enable future team growth and scalability.

🧠What You Bring

- 4 to 6 years owning high-volume media buying on Meta and Google with a track record of improving ROAS and lowering CPA.
- Proven experience managing people or teams effectively.
- Audience architecture and retargeting wizardry across the funnel, including smart exclusions and sequencing for 21‑to 28‑day campaign windows.
- Ability to translate data into creative direction and guide Brand on the exact assets, specs, hooks, and storylines needed to win.
- Hands‑on with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Events Manager and attribution via Triple Whale, HubSpot (or similar).
- Strength in budget pacing, bid strategy, and rapid A/B testing across many creators/products at once.
- Clear communicator who can turn insights into next steps for Brand, Digital, Growth, and agency partners.

👀Bonus

- Experience scaling on YouTube and emerging channels like Reddit, Discord, or Roblox.
- Proven creative testing frameworks you’ve taught or rolled out to teams.
- Success working in the creator economy, gaming, or pop‑culture spaces.
- Experience mentoring junior marketers and codifying playbooks for short campaign cycles.

Salary Band: $100-110k CAD per annum. Individual salaries will be dependent on unique skills, experience and qualifications.
