Role Overview
As a Litigation Lawyer, you will manage a diverse range of files including commercial, property disputes, employment, and estate litigation. You will be involved in all stages of litigation, including:
- Representing clients before courts and tribunals
- Managing a varied caseload across multiple practice areas
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, facta, and other court documents
- Conducting examinations for discovery, cross-examinations, and hearings
- Collaborating closely with partners and associates
- Advising clients and developing practical, results-oriented legal strategies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years post-call litigation experience
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage multiple files and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for problem-solving
- Sound business judgment and motivation to excel in the practice of law
Compensation
Competitive salary range: 100 – 137k
