Business Operations Manager – Permanent Part-Time (Edmonton-Based)

Lionheart provides adolescents, young adults, and their families with affordable access to specialized mental health services that support their journey through anxiety-based challenges and build resiliency for adulthood.

Opportunity:

Lionheart is seeking a part-time Business Operations Manager to provide operational leadership in key operational areas in support of Lionheart’s Edmonton Team. This seasoned professional will ensure effective and efficient operations in support of Lionheart’s strategic objectives. The Business Operations Manager is a collaborative leader who empowers others to succeed. They are innovative and organized, able to respond to emerging and changing demands. They will have a grasp of details and can translate them into a broader perspective.

Job Profile:

The Business Operations Manager will work with the Executive Director to oversee core operational areas, including human resources, organizational assets, service agreements, facilities, IT, bookkeeping, and finance, across two Lionheart Foundation sites. They will ensure that sound policies and practices are developed and implemented, with a view to limiting operational risk and maximizing opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Post-secondary certification along with 7-10 years in organizational leadership

- Knowledge and experience with digital transformational processes

- Experience in executing business plan objectives, including budget controls, asset management, and revenue forecasting

- Experience working with various HR platforms, Office 365

- Experience managing vendor/contractor relationships

- Meticulous attention to detail, time management skills, with an ability to multitask

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- A professional demeanor with an ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, funders, board members, and clients.

- An ability to manage confidential information.

This position is a flexible part-time position with benefits and paid vacation. The successful candidate will have a valid driver’s license and submit a vulnerable persons policy check.
