Our client, a growing service company in Oakville, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in high-volume Accounts Receivable (AR), collections, and financial reconciliations.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with numbers, problem-solving, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities· Accounts Receivable (AR) & Collections - 80%· Manage high-volume AR transactions (3,500+ invoices per month).· Oversee and execute collections processes, ensuring timely payments from customers.· Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.· Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payments and invoices.· Accounts Payable (AP) Support - 10%· Process low-volume AP transactions, including vendor payments and approvals.· Assist in reviewing and coding invoices for accuracy and compliance.· Month-End Close & Reconciliations - 10%· Assist with bank and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.· Support journal entries and financial reporting as part of month-end close.· Work closely with the finance team to improve processes and reporting efficiency.Qualifications & Skills· 2+ years of experience in an accounting or AR-focused role.· Experience managing high-volume AR and collections is required.· Strong knowledge of account reconciliations and financial reporting.· Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar).· Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.· Excellent communication skills for customer and vendor interactions.Why Join?· Competitive salary and benefits package.· Growth opportunities in a stable and expanding company.· Supportive team culture with professional development.Apply NowIf you're an accounting professional with a knack for high-volume AR and collections, we'd love to hear from you.
