Overview

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Excellence organization under the Downstream Reliability solutions Department.

Reliability Solutions Department (RSD) provides engineering support to Saudi Aramco Global Manufacturing wholly owned and affiliates' facilities (Refining, NGL Processing, and Petrochemicals). This includes reliability, inspection, corrosion management, static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, instrumentation and control support.

Your primary role as Rotating Equipment Engineer is to lead the organization and support the portfolio facilities to achieve the highest level of reliability for plant rotating equipment through a systematic approach and coordinated efforts. You will also administer a holistic system to benchmark, identify gaps and deploy comprehensive solutions to enhance Rotating Equipment reliability and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will work jointly with subject matter experts and multidisciplinary teams supporting/ leading troubleshooting, investigations and technical programs.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

- Collaborates with organization and facilities SMEs and management to drive rotating equipment reliability initiatives and programs.
- Architect, build and drive strategies to enhance Rotating Equipment reliability in order to increase availability and performance
- Supports proactive approach that identifies and addresses potential issues/ threats that could impact rotating equipment reliability
- Serves as a consultant to the different organization entities concerning reliability matters
- Ensures alignment and adherence to corporate standards, processes and guidelines.
- Collaborate with corporate entities on rotating equipment initiatives and programs to ensure full alignment.
- Works with the different organizations and entities to develop digital solutions and tools concerning rotating equipment and related analytics
- able to perform on-line vibration analysis in Bently Nevada Systems (System1, Data Manager) or similar technologies/ monitoring systems.
- Experienced in the use of predictive maintenance technologies/ tools, practices and information for rotating equipment evaluation and assessment.
- Participate/ support projects and turnarounds and lead rotating equipment commissioning and startups.
- Experience in providing technical support and quality checks at workshop for machinery like Pumps, Turbines, Compressors, and Motors.
- Strong in technical writing and technical report development
- Strong IT, computer (hardware and software) and PdM technology skills.
- Strong business, people, communication and professional skills.

Minimum Requirements

As a successful candidate you will hold a :

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- 15 years of experience in the rotating equipment discipline that includes 5 years of continuous relevant experience in the field of troubleshooting & assessments
- Demonstrate knowledge in engineering practices, international codes, standards and specifications, including API610, API611, API612, API614, API 617, API618, API682, API 692, API 691
- Understand and analyze vibration data for troubleshooting. Vibration certifications is a plus
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.
