Care Consultant – Grand Falls, New Brunswick
You
Are you a health care professional who thrives on connecting with people as much as providing care?
Do you light up at the chance to listen deeply, build trust quickly, and help families feel confident in their care journey?
Do you see every new client not as a task, but as a person with a unique story—and feel driven to create a safe, supportive environment that lets them thrive at home?
If you’re energized by relationship-building, confident in client assessments, and motivated by helping people choose the right care from day one, this might just be your next step.
As a Care Consultant, you’ll be the bridge between families and services—creating personalized care plans, building strong connections, and ensuring care starts smoothly. This is a casual position—perfect for those who want to add variety and leadership to their schedule while keeping flexibility to choose their level of commitment and be recognized for the impact you create.
Us
We’re Kindred Home Care—a fast-scaling, values-driven organization providing over 25,000 hours of care per week across the Maritimes. Thousands of families and over 1,000 caregivers trust us for one big reason: we show up, we listen, and we lead with people—always.
We’re looking for experienced nurses ready to bring their expertise, influence, and people-first mindset to a new, high-impact role.
Our team is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and deeply committed to providing excellent care at scale. If you’re looking to grow your impact without leaving the field behind, this is your opportunity.
What You'll Do
Be the First Face of Kindred Care
- Visit new clients in their homes to assess needs, conduct safety evaluations, and build tailored care plans that reflect their goals.
- Guide families through their options with clarity and confidence, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
- Partner with internal teams so care starts smoothly, on time, and aligned to client preferences.
Support Ongoing Client Success
- Conduct reassessments for existing clients, adapting care plans as needs evolve.
- Spot opportunities for additional services or support, flagging challenges before they become problems.
- Work with your team to find solutions that balance care quality with client goals.
Be a Trusted Care Partner
- Strengthen relationships in the community as a trusted face of Kindred.
- Take on occasional operational tasks or follow-up visits that ensure continuity of care.
- Add variety and leadership to your week while shaping what client care looks like in your region.
What You Bring
- You’re an Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN), RN, LPN or PSW with at least 3 years of healthcare experience.
- Background in sales, business development, or community outreach — you’re comfortable initiating conversations, nurturing relationships, and influencing decisions.
- A proven track record of building trust quickly with patients, families, or community partners.
- Strong ability to translate care needs into clear plans that families feel confident about.
- A people-first mindset with curiosity, clarity, and compassion in every interaction.
- Comfort with technology (Salesforce, Google Workspace, documentation tools).
- Your own vehicle (and a reliable GPS helps too).
Who You Are
- Someone who understands the power of building trust and lasting relationships.
- A confident communicator who can listen deeply and guide families with clarity and confidence.
- Naturally curious and attentive—able to spot needs and opportunities others might miss.
- Empathetic and decisive, making families feel supported and reassured in their decisions.
- Energized by being the one who helps clients take that first step into care with confidence.
Why Join Kindred?
This is more than a new title—it’s a new career track.
As a Care Consultant, you’ll leverage your nursing background in a more consultative, client-facing role. You’ll help families make confident care decisions, shape the start of every client journey, and contribute to our mission of providing excellent care at scale.
Whether you want to grow your leadership, expand your schedule, or add more variety to your work week—this role is your next step.
