Purpose of an Outside Sales Representative

The Sales Representative will service multiple dealers across Southern Ontario, Canada. You must be able to commute and travel daily within Southern Ontario. The position involves building a book of business, managing a set region, and encouraging the adoption and usage of our programs within the current and future dealers in the designated area.

Success

The goal is to have dealer agreements signed in Dealer Track (DT), application submissions and those applications approved and funded. A Sales Reps success will be in the volume and quality of deals submitted by their dealers.

Responsibilities of an Outside Sales Representative

- Prospecting: Energetic and motivated to get the right people on the phone to create buy-in on Northlake Financial services.

- Dealer Engagement: Offer an exceptional client experience by providing support and connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.

- Problem Solving: Listen, ask questions and lead with empathy by putting yourself in the dealer's shoes to efficiently resolve issues.

- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Act like an owner by taking accountability for issues, and knowing when to collaborate and use your team to find the right solutions.

- Product Knowledge: Deeply understand the products offered by Northlake Financial, and proactively recommend products that will help achieve their financial goals.

- Goal Achievement: You are competitive and motivated to achieve and exceed your metrics assigned to you by your manager.

Requirements of an Outside Sales Representative

- MUST be located within Southern Ontario

- 3-5 years of related sales experience

- Experience selling in indirect automotive or consumer lending, financial services is an asset

- Post-Secondary education in Business or Commerce is an asset

- Valid Driver's license and ability to travel within the specified territory on a regular basis

- Dexterous in using productivity tools and end-user software including MS Office suite

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal

- Successful track record of growing sales and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

Compensation

- Base Salary: $60,000 annually

- Competitive Commission Structure with performance-based earning potential
