Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

- Access control.
- Operating security monitoring equipment and telecommunications (i.e., two-way radio, alarm systems).
- Monitor security surveillance systems (CCTV).
- Conflict management.
- Ensure compliance of the policies of Ford Motor Company.
- Respond to fire, medical, hazardous materials spills, confined space, high rescue emergencies, bomb threats.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience:

•Valid Class G Driver’s License.
•First Aid, CPR, AED Certification.
•Must be able to work all shifts (days, afternoons, midnights, weekends, and holidays).
•Must be physically able to provide emergency medical assistance and complete foot patrols.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

- Post-secondary Education in a related field.

Experience:

•NFPA 1 & 2.
•Confined Space Rescue.
•High angle rescue.
• Incipient fire and emergency medical response.
•Demonstrated ability to respond with patience, courtesy, and professionalism.
•Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
•Verbal and written communication for the purposes providing customer service and report writing.
•Dependable and punctual.
•Strong ability to work with others.
•Problem solving, decision making, critical thinking.
•Attention to detail.

*Note: Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.
