The Role**:Day Porter (Light Office Cleaning Duties)**

Location: Oakville

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)

While we currently have commercial cleaners performing heavy duty cleaning tasks nightly at our facility, as well as a Day Porter to complete light duty day cleaning tasks, we are currently seeking an **additional** energetic, friendly, and reliable **Day Porter**to join our Zeton team

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The position will involve the following tasks:

- Check and fill paper in all photocopiers, keep the photocopy areas clean, replace toners.
- Set-up/Clean-up - coffee and lunch service for meetings.
- Ensure all meeting rooms are tidy, tables and chairs wiped, and ensure whiteboards are clean.
- Monitor washrooms, replenish paper towels, replenish toilet paper in the stalls, refill hand soap, clean mirrors, wipe the counters and keep the sinks clean.
- Make coffee at break times and monitor kitchen supplies.
- Wipe/Disinfect all counters and tables in the kitchenettes, and lunchrooms after breaks.
- Regularly wipe/disinfect all kitchen cupboards, inside and out.
- Clean the coffee makers daily and keep area tidy.
- Ensure the microwaves are cleaned after breaks.
- Pack and empty the dishwasher.
- Wipe down fridge doors, and clean out the inside of the fridges on Fridays.
- Clean water fountains in manufacturing shop area.
- Dust /clean windowsills, ledges, wall pictures and stairwells.
- Mop-up accidental spills and spot vacuum when necessary.
- Spot clean walls and tiles when needed.
- Assist with social committee initiatives.
- Reception relief when required.
- Some heavy lifting will be required (boxes of paper towel, toilet paper, photocopy paper, coffee supplies etc.)
- Other tasks as may be assigned.

- Must be team oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Prepared to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner.
