Apply now and be part of our extraordinary journey.Learn more about the amazing research and work we do at TRIUMF.**Overview:**As a member of the Procurement team, the student will play a key role in supporting the processing of Purchase Requisitions, assisting with purchasing compliance, and contributing to a variety of procurement-related administrative tasks—both routine and non-routine in nature.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Procurement team.* Maintain accurate contractual records, documentation, and related correspondence.* Assist with supplier qualification and evaluation processes.* Support procurement compliance activities.* Help qualify and onboard new suppliers.* Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.* Communicate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products and services.* Participate in competitive bidding and contract review activities.* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support organizational goals.**Knowledge and Skills:*** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).* Strong numerical aptitude and attention to accuracy.* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and composed under pressure.* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) is an asset.* Creative thinking and problem-solving skills are a plus.* Prior knowledge or experience in the supply chain field is beneficial, but not required.**Qualifications:*** Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program.
