The Role

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Food & Beverage operations. Your primary objectives are to build a high-performing team and efficient systems which will deliver consistently excellent food and drink for our guests, while also maximizing revenue and profitability. Your leadership will play a crucial role in elevating our food and beverage offerings, driving business growth, and maintaining Saunders Farm's reputation for excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Demonstrate and embody the Saunders Farm vision, mission, values, foundations.
2. Oversee and manage all Food & Beverage day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
3. Build a Food & Beverage Team that creates amazing food and drink experiences for our guests
4. Supervise, train and mentor all Food & Beverage staff to ensure adherence to the Farm's policies, procedures, and exceptional customer service.
5. Create and implement a comprehensive plan and strategy to manage the Food & Beverage department at the Farm including menu development, pricing, and promotional activities.
6. Manage the Payroll, Scheduling, and Tipout Management of the department.
7. Meet regularly with owners and management team to discuss performance metrics, customer feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
8. Analyze department performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
9. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
10. Manage and schedule regular seasonal maintenance on equipment through various providers.
11. Promote Saunders Cider as our premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on the Farm and beyond, and implement thorough product training in conjunction with the Cider Maker.
12. Perform other duties and assigned tasks as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Proven food and beverage management experience.
2. Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field, or proven demonstrated experience in lieu
3. SmartServe and Safe Food Handle Certification required.
4. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Google Suite, POS, etc).
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of customers and staff.
6. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
8. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
9. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices.
10. Must be able to obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications and uphold the regulatory requirements set out by the AGCO and other governing bodies.
