Role Overview
The Learning and Development Specialist will design, implement, and deliver training programs that enhance the growth, knowledge, and performance of employees across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about employee engagement, professional growth, and building a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for brokers, admins, and support staff
- Create engaging learning materials for in-person and virtual sessions
- Identify skill gaps and implement training solutions with Team Leads
- Plan, schedule, and track training sessions and employee progress
- Maintain accurate training records and assist HR with related tasks
- Support leadership and professional development initiatives
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
- Evaluate training effectiveness and update programs as needed
- Stay current on new learning tools and methods
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Learning & Development or Training, ideally in financial services or mortgage
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Experience delivering both in person and online learning
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
