**Part-time Tutors in English reading and writing**

**Oxford Learning South Surrey Grandview Heights** has openings for upbeat, passionate, enthusiastic, and dynamic tutors who seek work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our Programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits.

Tutors at Oxford Learning Centre are trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods. Experience helping students with their homework is a plus.

**Position Requirements**

This role is in-person at the Centre.

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

**Education**:

- Working towards a bachelor’s degree or similar certification and/or experience in a relevant field

**Experience**:

- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Experience tutoring/teaching
- Ability to multitask

**Responsibilities (Position Details)**

You will work directly with students with the following responsibilities:

- Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
- Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
- Filling in post-lesson notes
- Completing daily student communication updates
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary Range**: $20 / hour

**Schedule**:

- 3pm to early evening based on student schedules
- shifts available Monday to Saturday
- flexible to work around your university schedule
