As Director of Engineering, you’ll lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across departments to deliver groundbreaking solutions that elevate the built environment. Key Responsibilities

- Set the vision and strategic direction for the engineering department, ensuring alignment with broader company goals.
- Lead the growth and development of a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support company-wide initiatives, ensuring engineering projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive innovation by championing modern engineering practices and sustainable technologies that improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with industry codes, safety regulations, and internal quality standards.
- Support mentorship and career development within the team, and lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize workflows, boost productivity, and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

- As the ideal candidate you are P.Eng., Civil or a CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) with 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in modular construction, manufacturing, or large-scale building projects is highly desirable.
- You bring a successful track record of managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects.
- You’re a strategic thinker who can align technical efforts with business priorities, and you have a deep understanding of engineering principles, building codes, and design tools like Revit, AutoCAD, or BIM.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills are essential, along with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving continuous improvement.
