OverviewBrandt Group of Companies is seeking a Director of Sales - Forestry (East) for the Quebec and Atlantic region. This role is responsible for increasing market share of new forestry equipment sales while providing guidance on the valuations of used equipment entering inventory.ResponsibilitiesAchieve market share goals for the long-term success of the manufacturer and the companyAchieve asset management goals of turnover and minimizing aging, and protect company assets, including new and used whole goods inventoryProvide input on standardized build codes for inventory productsProvide detailed feedback and forecasts for inventory levels to achieve sales and market share goalsProvide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressuresPromote and sell the Telematic and Machine monitoring capabilities differentiating Brandt and John DeereAssist and evaluate competitive quotes, pricing, and offers to drive market intelligence, increase share and marginsDevelop and execute effective sales and marketing forestry programsTravel and interact with customers and Brandt team members on jobsites, mentoring and guiding on sales strategy, product FABs, and tactics to address challengesAssist in developing all employees within the area of responsibility to build a knowledgeable, motivated, and successful teamManage duties, assignments, and expenses of Corporate Product Managers assigned to the areaCollaborate with branch sales teams to build relationships with mill yard customers and develop multi-level sales strategiesProvide feedback to Brandt Engineered Products to support invention and development of attachments and productsParticipate in Brandt/Deere DAG/CAG initiatives as requiredFluent in English and FrenchOther projects as assignedQualificationsFluent in English and FrenchExperience in forestry equipment sales and related marketsAbility to travel as requiredStrong leadership and team-building skillsJob DetailsEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustry: Machinery ManufacturingSeniority level: Director #J-18808-Ljbffr
