Job Overview

This position works in the IT Strategy & Architecture organizational unit. The role will analyze business processes, lead project implementations, and define requirements and business cases to support Property, Engineering and Development (PEDA) applications, primarily supporting Infor IPS platform and IPS integration with other systems. The incumbent will perform a number of activities supporting the sustainment of applications such as leading user departments in adopting business process change; sharing best practices, conducting gap and capability analyses, preparing documents and records on business processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), delivering training, and ensuring data integrity and compliance with security policies. Additionally, the role supports the Manager of GIS and Smart City Initiatives with contract negotiation and renewal processes, ensuring asset data consistency, spatial accuracy and effective system integration to support operation workflows.

An incumbent exercises considerable independent judgement and action in performing systems maintenance tasks and refers more complex problems to a supervisor, who evaluates work performance in terms of effective services rendered. Performs related work as required.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and document business processes for PED applications and Infor IPS integration.

- Lead project implementations and define requirements and business cases.

- Conduct gap and capability analyses for application sustainment.

- Prepare business process documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training materials.

- Ensure data integrity, compliance with security policies, and asset data consistency.

- Support contract negotiation and renewal for GIS and Smart City Initiatives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.

- Sound experience in systems analysis or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

- Knowledge of SaaS and COTS products in hybrid digital & data initiatives; experience with GIS and Infor or similar asset management systems.

- Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies for problem definition and analysis.

- Ability to analyze and evaluate data, develop logical solutions, and establish effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
