We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team and work in our Moosehead Cold Beer Store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. We are seeking candidates with flexible availability to work weekend mornings, or evenings (until midnight), and occasional weekday evening shifts; approximately 15+ hrs/week.
Customer Service Specialists are responsible for educating our customers about beer and our products, serving customers in our retail store and drive-thru, and selling Moosehead merchandise. The successful candidate will be required to operate a forklift when needed. Our employees receive extensive training on beer styles, the brewing process, and Moosehead's history upon hire. Customer Service Specialists ensure our customers have a positive experience while visiting our one-of-a-kind Cold Beer Store Drive-Thru and retail store.
We are looking for a dynamic employee who can adapt to any situation and is highly responsive to our consumers' needs.
Qualifications
- You have a passion for great beer, beer culture, and championing our products.
- You possess excellent customer service and public speaking skills and you're always willing to learn.
- You have an energetic and dynamic personality, you are approachable and enjoy engaging with consumers.
- You enjoy being a host and have an all-hands-on-deck attitude.
- You are attentive and compliant with safety regulations procedures.
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Prior supervising experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to maneuver items up to 100lbs is considered an asset.
- Forklift Certification would be an asset.
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences at the Moosehead Cold Beer Store.
- Determine consumer needs and recommend the best product for them.
- Demonstrate a constant and up-to-date expertise of our products, promotions, and policies.
- Educate consumers about beer and our products.
- Responsible for the alcoholic beverage service management and strict adherence to our WE ID policy.
- Exceptional cash and inventory accuracy and management.
- Drive the sale of products to achieve personal and store sales targets.
- Assist in executing events and activations including serving beer samples for store tasting.
- Operate a forklift when needed.
Additional Information
Successful candidates will work at the Moosehead Cold Beer Store, Dartmouth, NS. The Moosehead Cold Beer Store is open 7 days a week and employees will be expected to work most major holidays and late shifts until midnight. Seeking individuals with flexible schedules.
