The Opportunity

We are seeking a Sr Quality Assurance Specialist to join a dynamic project within a large-scale organization. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and experience in finance systems testing, who thrive in multidisciplinary IT environments.

What You'll Do

- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for finance systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contributors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Support system enhancements and validate integration with financial processes.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within an innovative environment.

What You Bring to the Table

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Studies or minor in Finance or Accounting considered a strong asset.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in finance systems, testing, or quality assurance within a large organization.
- Knowledge of IFRS17 Insurance Contracts and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is a major advantage.
- Ability to work in a dynamic IT environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical skills, insight, and attention to detail.
- Leadership qualities, team spirit, and ability to work independently.

Core Skills Required

- Proficiency in Office 365, Excel, Visio, Jira, Snowflake, and RDBMS tools (e.g., Toad, MS SQL Server).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingualism (English and French) to interact regularly with colleagues across Canada.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada (no prior Canadian work experience required).
