The main purpose of this position is to provide the documentation and testing of client based systems. This position reports to the QA Lead. Job Requirements 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience. Strong hands‑on Python programming experience. 3+ years of Robot Framework experience, specifically in API automation. Databricks testing experience—validating data flows, ETL pipelines, transformations, and Delta tables. 5+ years of SQL experience, including complex queries and backend validation testing. Experience with: RESTful APIs, Postman, SoapUI API load/performance testing (JMeter, Azure Load Test) Cloud-based application testing (Azure) Automation tools (Postman/Newman, RestAssured, custom Python frameworks) Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test frameworks, automation design patterns. Experience with Agile software development teams. Hands‑on experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, JDBC, or similar). Good understanding of: Angular, React, or Vue applications (basic) Front-end automation tools: Selenium, Cypress. Performance tools: Azure Load Testing, JMeter BDD tools: Gherkin, Behave, JUnit, TestNG Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos). Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Attributes Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Ability to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of SDLC, testing processes, and workflow diagrams. Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving project needs. Strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities. Ability to work across teams and take initiative. Job Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain API automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework. Validate Databricks workflows, Delta tables, and data pipelines including ETL/ELT transformations. Perform SQL validations and backend testing across large datasets. Conduct RESTful API testing, including load, performance, error-handling, and integration testing. Prepare, document, and execute test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on business and technical requirements. Identify gaps in functional and technical specifications and provide proactive feedback. Maintain testing standards, documentation repositories, and reporting formats. Create, track, update, and close defects using a standard defect tracking tool (Azure DevOps preferred). Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and ensure adequate coverage. Participate in Agile ceremonies and support continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines. Perform cross-browser testing, website testing, and mobile device testing when required.
