Our office is conveniently located at 346 Upper Ottawa Street A in Hamilton.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm

1 to 2 Fridays a month: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm

1 Saturday a month: 9:00 am to 2:00

Responsibilities:

Patient Communication:

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring timely and accurate information is relayed to patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, fees, and insurance coverage.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.

Insurance Verification and Claims Processing:

- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Obtain pre-authorizations for dental procedures as required.
- Prepare and submit accurate insurance claims.
- Monitor and follow up on insurance claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.

Front Desk Operations:

- Manage patient registration and data entry accurately.
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect co-payments and other fees from patients.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

- Work effectively as part of a cohesive dental team.
- Communicate openly and professionally with dentists, hygienists, and other staff members.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, such as inventory management or office supply ordering.

About You:

- Minimum 1 year of administration experience
- Clinical background and experience with dental software programs considered an asset
