Overview
LPN opportunity in Lumby, Salmon Arm and Williams Lake BC. This role is ideal for those interested in working in a Long Term Senior Living facility.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Permanent. Locations available: Williams Lake, Lumby and Salmon Arm BC. Hourly rates are based off the BC Provincial Wage Guide / Years of Experience. Schedule: Days/Nights available. Compensation & Perks: Annual renewal coverage for LPN license with the BCCNM; Comprehensive health benefits; Paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centered nursing care to residents
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in compliance with BCCNM standards
- Foster a respectful, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, families, and staff
- Demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Permanent resident or citizen of Canada
- Active LPN registration with the BCCNM (or in the process of obtaining)
- Valid First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date immunizations, including proof of negative TB test
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow long term
