Job Title: Director of Product Marketing Job Summary We are hiring a Director of Product Marketing to lead Customer Experience (CX) portfolio & platform innovations across Business AI, Business Data Cloud, and SAP Business Technology Platform, and to drive technical product storytelling for the CX portfolio. As we accelerate innovation in Business AI, this role has a unique mandate to look across the CX portfolio of AI‑driven capabilities and drive a cohesive, customer‑centric strategy in close partnership with Corporate Business AI and CX Product & Product Marketing teams. This leader will be responsible for bringing cross‑CX AI innovation to market through clear positioning, unified narratives, and field‑ready sales plays and assets. This role partners deeply with CX Product Management, CX Product Marketing, Corporate Business AI, and Business Planning & GTM teams to bring complex, multi‑product innovations to market. The focus is on ensuring our most important CX initiatives are positioned clearly, aligned to Corporate Strategy, and enabled for real customer adoption through strong storytelling, demos, and high‑impact field assets. What you'll build: This is a hands‑on leadership role that spans strategy, execution, and influence-owning how cross‑CX innovation comes to life for customers, sellers, and partners. Cross-CX Product Marketing Lead positioning, messaging, naming, business model, and go‑to‑market strategy for product innovation that spans SAP’s Customer Experience portfolio (Marketing, Commerce, Sales, and Service). Define clear, unified cross‑CX narratives that connect multiple products into a cohesive customer and platform story. Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement, and Field teams to ensure launch plans are aligned and executed consistently. Establish best practices and repeatable launch frameworks for cross‑portfolio CX initiatives. CX Business AI Product Innovations Develop a deep understanding of the CX AI roadmap and how it aligns with the broader Business AI strategy. Ensure CX AI innovation connects back to shared Business AI platforms, priorities, and value frameworks. Influence product roadmap discussions by bringing customer needs, adoption signals, and GTM requirements into early planning. Drive alignment across CX product teams, so AI capabilities are positioned consistently and cohesively across the portfolio. Own and maintain the core CX Business AI bill of materials, and partner with Enablement to support seller readiness. Focus on customer adoption of CX Business AI value, not just feature awareness. Technical Product Storytelling Lead technical product storytelling for cross‑CX initiatives, with a strong emphasis on demos and real product narratives. Partner with cross‑CX Product Marketers who own L0 and L1 assets, ensuring technical storytelling and demos are complementary and reusable by the field. Drive executive‑level and field‑facing product storytelling and demos in partnership with Demo and Design teams, spanning: Executive and keynote presentations Strategic sales moments Hero field‑facing assets Raise the overall quality, clarity, and consistency of how complex CX and AI products are demonstrated and explained. What you bring 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or related roles in enterprise software or SaaS. Proven experience leading multi‑product or platform‑level launches. Strong understanding of AI‑powered products and the ability to translate technical capabilities into customer value. Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering teams. Demonstrated success in creating GTM strategy, product positioning, and field‑ready assets. Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Customer Experience (CX) platforms or enterprise business applications. Prior experience influencing product roadmaps through customer and market insight. Experience developing demo strategy or technical product storytelling for sales teams. Comfort operating in a highly matrixed, cross‑functional environment. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
