- Starting annual salary: 142K-162K depending on experience
- Type: 75% Remote/Working from home and **25% travel is required** for in-person quarterly planning, leadership meetings, conferences.

**What you will do**:
As a Product Director, under the supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, your role involves overseeing all product management activities and building and delivering an actionable roadmap. You are responsible for executing the contracts, defining the success metrics and to report to Leadership and the Members. This role is responsible for articulating a strategy to deliver the work and improve the impact. Effective communication is an essential component of this role, both internally and externally. The responsibilities are intended to be very close to the “day-to-day” operations of the team, while still supporting organizational wide objectives and being focused on the longer term in order to achieve our mission and vision.
- **People Management (35%)** You will manage a team of up to 10 members. You provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure overall team productivity and success. You are responsible for talent management, including attraction, retention and growth.
- ** Technical Leadership (35%)**: Responsible for all **Product Development** and supporting the team to plan and prioritize all the products. Set clear goals, create timelines, and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of product releases. Stay up to date with best product development practices.
- ** Strategic Leadership (30%)** Responsible for defining the **Product Strategy** and roadmap with the collaboration of various stakeholders, including having an understanding of market needs and trends, aligning product vision with the organization's goals. You are involved in high-level decisions when it comes to products and you set up the success metrics throughout the product development process.

**Who you are**:

- BAC in relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- 7+ years of product management experience. Experience in an open source environment or in public transit technology is highly desirable
- 3+ years people management experience
- Ability to demonstrate ambassadorship, communicate effectively and engage with diverse group of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Values authentic, inclusive and impact-driven leadership
- Aware of and accustomed to the cultural differences across countries and continents
- Fluency in a language other than English is an asset

This person will be hired through the Canadian entity and must be eligible to work in Canada.
