Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Outside Looking In Full time
About Outside Looking In

Outside Looking In (OLI) is an Indigenous education organization serving Indigenous youth across Canada for over 17 years. Through experiential education that explores self-expression, embracing challenges, and shaping a journey to success, OLI supports and empowers Indigenous youth through high school to chart their career path. We are Canada's largest Indigenous youth charity, and we present Canada's largest live youth performance every year in Toronto to an audience of over 5000 guests.

Introduction

OLI is seeking a Part-Time Program Manager to support the delivery of its Future Leaders Program. Reporting to the Associate Director, Programs, this role will focus on engaging with youth participants, managing program activities, and fostering strong relationships with youth and community partners. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to empowering Indigenous youth across Canada and with the potential to transition to full-time employment.

The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with exceptional organizational skills, a positive attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with youth, mentors, and community partners.

OLI operates programs throughout the school year in Indigenous communities across Canada, including two nationally recognized high school-accredited dance and career development programs, as well as a new Professional Studies Certificate Program for OLI Alumni who have graduated. Each May, OLI participants from Indigenous communities across Canada gather for the Annual Dance Camp in southern Ontario to rehearse, connect and prepare to perform at the OLI Annual Showcase in Toronto.
