Job Summary:
The Alternative Secondary School Program Support Worker will work with the Anishinabek Employment & Training Services to support Indigenous youth in the Northern Ontario region. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Social Services and/or equivalent experience working in an educational or social services environment. They will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating educational workshops and services, as well as providing case management support to youth. This is a full-time position that requires a valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and facilitate educational workshops and services for Indigenous youth

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A degree in Social Services and/or equivalent experience working in an educational or social services environment

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and individuals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database applications
