We are looking for an energetic and reliable person to add to our team for an eight-week term The position we are hiring for is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm.

As an Inclusion Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Aiding child(ren) throughout the day with various tasks such as planned activities, transitions, bathroom visits, nap time, etc.
2. Assisting lead educators where needed.
3. Ensuring the health and safety of children.
4. Communicating with children, parents, and staff.
5. Working effectively as a member of a team, as well as independently.
6. Documenting child(ren)'s learning.
7. Completing accident reports and reports for specialists as necessary.
8. Updating Lillio (Parent App) with daily reports on child(ren).
9. Developing and organizing child(ren)'s portfolios.
10. Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
11. Keeping the classroom clean and organized.

Required Skills

- First Aid and CPR Training
- Early Childhood Education Certificate or Diploma (Must be recognized by the PEI Child Care Facility Board): Not necessary, but considered an asset.

Required Experience

Experience working in a child care facility with children ages 0-5 considered an asset.
