Dedicated Services JDT - Import Analyst I 2001 Huron Church Rd, Windsor, ON N9A 6L6, Canada Job Description Farrow, a wholly owned subsidiary of KueHNEE+NAGEL Group, is headquartered in Windsor, Canada. POSITION SUMMARY This entry level position primarily handles receiving, reviewing, and entering customs documents. Incumbent processes shipments per SOP. May seek guidance from senior teammates as directed. Key Responsibilities - Receive documents via email, fax, mail. Review for completeness ensuring all data (e.g., date, description, value) is present. Identify account number, ETA, apply bar code to billing sheet. Enter required data in database system to produce entry. - Contact clients, branches or brokers for additional documents or info as required. - Respond to calls and queries from internal and external sources. Track shipments & set up pre‑arrivals at Customs. - Perform other duties such as sorting, matching, stapling documents, printing, faxing, scanning, and other tasks assigned. Education & Experience - High School Diploma or equivalent experience. - Office experience an asset, but not required. Competencies, Working Skills & Attributes - Consistently release complex entries, solve problems with minimal assistance. - Complete various entry types & processes. - Excellent detail orientation. - Tactful & dependable. - Strong communication; fluently read write speak English. - French language proficiency an asset. - Strong interpersonal; work independently & teamwork. - Fast 8000 strokes/hour at 97% accuracy. - Multi‑task & track priorities & ETA’s. - Basic math calculations. - Proficient in MS Office, email, internet, & office equipment (computer, fax, copier, scanner, telephone). Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements - Accuracy in data entry, figures, reconciliation. - Concentration balancing multiple tasks. - Repetitive keyboarding/mousing >6 hrs/day. - Prioritize tasks in fast-paced, multi‑task environment. - Prolonged desk sitting up to ½‑1h at a time, more than 6 hrs/day. - Lift entries & mail (less than 10 lbs.). - Non‑hazardous office environment.
