Our Service Advisor is a trusted liaison between our clients and service technicians. They are the first person our customers think of when they have a automotive service need and the last person they have contact with when their vehicle is finished. They are the face and personality of our business to our clients.

The Service Advisor is a dedicated team member that sets an example, by managing a positive team of technicians who all work towards a common goal of fulfilling the mission of the company by being a resource our community can rely on for quality automotive service. Technicians rely on advisors to represent them to the customer and make recommendations to clients on their behalf. Therefore, trust and communication skills are paramount in maintaining satisfied clients and technicians. Our Service Advisor is part administrative and all customer service. The role structure is to drive business into the shop through investigating client needs, scheduling the flow and creating happy clients that return for life

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Be able to help customer from check in to check out
- Be able to handle 10-11 customers a day
- Build an estimate in 20 minutes or less
- Open and close the shop per opening and closing procedures
- Keep technicians as productive as possible by continually providing them with work, the necessary parts and mínimal interruptions
- Responsible for all administrative paperwork and filing of the paperwork in a timely manner, this includes vendor receipts, workflow process guides while training, till procedures ect.
- Maintaining lobby cleanliness
- Answering all phone calls within 3 rings
- Scheduling all clients
- Meeting and greeting customers walking in the door
- Write ups, advises and sales of all estimated work
- Vehicle Delivery process of all customers
- Handles cash and credit transactions of each customer
- Handling of all customer complaints, concern, comeback according to company policy and procedure
- Communicates with technician about each of the customers concerns to get the concerns taken care of and in the estimated work time
- Be aware of and track comebacks and make sure the problem is corrected to the customers satisfaction
- Work with insurance companies to get needed repairs approved and handle the financial part of the transaction
- Achieving shop performance goals as needed

- Experience in working in a automotive shop

- Good organizational skills
- Ability to negotiate customer complaints to a satisfactory resolution
- General understanding of mechanical terms
- High school diploma
- Ability to be fully trained for the position within 30 days
- Continuing education -25 hours a year

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
