Aircraft Technician

The Aircraft Technician is responsible for conducting all servicing and maintenance tasks.
In your role, you will:
1. Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems.
2. Remove and replace line replaceable units and components.
3. Perform specialty work in maintenance shops as required.
4. Interpret technical publications and diagrams.
5. Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties.
6. Order aircraft spare parts and materials.
7. Conduct flight line servicing operations.
8. Debrief Team Lead as required.
9. Carry out workplace inspections and cleanups.
10. Fill the position of Desk Controller.
Our ideal candidate has:
1. Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence - Canadian Forces AVN Technician).
2. Possession of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering license M2 or (M1/M2 combined).
3. Proven experience as a team player.
4. Good oral and written communication skills in English.
5. Ability to work shifts; some travel required.
6. A valid driver's license.
7. Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices.
8. Ability to obtain a Reliability security clearance from the Government of Canada.
9. Eligibility to work in Canada, either as a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or valid Work Permit.
Must have experience:
1. No less than 4 years of aircraft related experience.
2. Minimum 3 years of 1st and 2nd line maintenance activities.
3. Experience in life cycle support activities is an asset.
