You'll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. We're enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.

About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Learning Specialist to design, deliver, and promote engaging learning experiences. This role requires expertise in facilitating scalable virtual instructor-led training (VILT) sessions and in-person leadership programs (ILT), conducting targeted 1-on-1 coaching, and driving digital adoption. The Learning Specialist will also play a key role in marketing learning programs to enhance awareness and participation across the organization. The Learning Specialist reports to the Senior Learning Business Partner – North America and will work collaboratively to adapt and deliver blended solutions that address business needs.

- Adapt training delivery methods to meet learner needs, ensuring high engagement and retention.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-class and virtual development programmes successfully.
- Conduct 1-on-1 follow-up sessions to reinforce learning, address individual challenges, and support skill development virtually or on-site.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive awareness and participation in learning programs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to advocate for learning initiatives and encourage digital adoption.
- Identify barriers to digital adoption and develop strategies to address them.
- Collect feedback from learners to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage workload and tasks to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Support operations leaders and managers by practicing coaching conversations on-site.
- Take responsibility for continuous improvement, ensuring the quality of all materials produced are to the required standard, reviewed and updated.
- Run and facilitate regular learning events – Inductions, Insights workshops and front-line management programmes using a variety of media.
- Update and maintain learning records.
- Consult with Human Resource Business Partners, business leaders and other key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver blended solutions based on business need to ensure learning requirements are tailored and delivered to the necessary timescales.

- Experienced in working with subject matter experts from a broad range of subject areas to write and develop content.
- Experienced in partnering with business units to recommend and promote a broad range of learning programs.
- Confident in coaching leaders in a non-digital environment to use digital platforms.
