Job Description
Position: Technical Specialist (UNIX)
Responsibilities:
1. Possess at least 5 years of experience in UNIX system administration. Experience with Windows system administration is a plus.
2. Have a strong understanding of application design, hosting architecture, databases, web servers, and application servers.
3. Experience working with application servers such as Websphere; familiarity with IIS is a plus.
4. Experience in detailed planning for infrastructure-related activities, including implementations and maintenance.
5. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and demonstrate good negotiation skills.
6. Be independent and resourceful, capable of planning and executing tasks with minimal dependency.
7. Coordinate and facilitate collaboration among different teams to successfully execute plans.
8. May be required to provide occasional support outside regular working hours.
