The Billing Analyst I – Cash Application will be playing a major role in applying and posting payments to customer accounts daily.**Responsibilities:*** Apply and post payments to customer accounts on daily basis from various sources such as EFT/ACH/Wire, credit & debit card payments and unapplied cash.* Ensuring KPI’s are met.* Investigate and resolve misapplied cash transactions.* Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations and perform root cause analysis.* Perform related administrative duties.* Prepare and create AR refunds, and other adjusting journal entries as required.* Initiate professional contact with internal customer service representatives and external customers as needed to obtain remittance advice and support other AR initiatives.* Assist with month end close & daily deposit reconciliation to the bank.* Assist with managing Cash application email inbox by managing cash application inquiries from both internal and external customers.* Other duties/projects as assigned.* Documentation of processes and desktop instructions.We’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
