Make a difference with StepStones in Toronto as a part-time Employment & Education Partnerships Coordinator. Facilitate access to meaningful jobs and educational opportunities for youth balancing school and personal growth.
In this one-year contract role, you will play a crucial role in connecting youth with part-time employment through strategic partnerships with local employers and training programs. Supporting youth through mentorship, coaching, and tailored employment plans, you’ll ensure they’re prepared to thrive in job placements. Your expertise will guide youth along their educational paths while fostering partnerships that reflect equity and community commitment.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and maintain employer partnerships for youth placements
• Create customized job opportunities aligned with education plans
• Conduct one-on-one coaching on resume building and interviews
• Provide ongoing support and resources for youth in jobs
• Track outcomes and contribute to program evaluation
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in workforce development or youth programming
• Proven experience in building community partnerships
• Knowledge of systemic barriers affecting youth
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Experience with trauma-informed practices Lead youth to success and empower them through meaningful engagements aligned with their personal goals.
