Business Development Representative

REQUIREMENTS:

- Answer all incoming telephone calls within three rings.
- Respond to inbound/outbound emails, telephone calls and internet prospects from the sales department internet leads.
- Timely response to customer requests.
- Friendly attitude at the first point of contact with any potential client/customer.
- Update records and enter customer information into data management system.
- Create and filter customer retention list and schedule sales appointments.
- Follow up on all sales appointments, such missed appointments.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
- Notify necessary departments when an appointment is scheduled.
- Prospecting via calls and feet on the street.
- Ability to meet or exceed monthly goals.
- Assist with other duties, as assigned by the direct manager.

- Proven track record in corporate used transportation sales preferred

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE TO APPLY:

- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements for operating a motor vehicle
- A valid driver’s license
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing role required with experience in retail, sales or marketing
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles: van, light and heavy duty trucks preferred
- Must submit to and adequately pass a pre-employment background and MVR screen prior to employment
- Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays knowing that employees are required to stay until the customer’s purchase is complete and their satisfaction ensured
