Mechanical Turnaround Planner

Overview
WestCorp Solutions is seeking an experienced Mechanical Turnaround Planner to support an upcoming turnaround project in Northern Saskatchewan. This position will be based at a remote camp facility on a rotational schedule. The successful candidate will develop, coordinate, and maintain detailed mechanical turnaround plans to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance, repair, and upgrade activities.

Schedule: TBD
Contract Duration: TBD
Travel: Camp based, charter flights provided from Saskatoon at the start and end of each rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive turnaround plans and work packages for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Support scheduling and resource allocation for mechanical work scopes.
- Ensure plans reflect accurate labor, materials, and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and project execution teams to align priorities and optimize schedules.
- Monitor turnaround progress and update plans as required to meet project timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, schedules, and progress reports.
- Support pre-turnaround planning activities including scope review, estimation, and work package development.
- Ensure all work complies with site safety procedures, codes, and standards.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Boilermaker, Pipefitter/Steamfitter, Millwright, or other relevant mechanical trade certification preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial turnaround experience, including demonstrated expertise in mechanical planning.
- Experience using SAP, and proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools is an asset.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, work packaging, and job estimating.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, team-oriented turnaround environment.
