Turnaround Mechanical Planner

**Responsibilities**:

- Scope maintenance work for upcoming turnarounds or outages.
- Conduct field inspections to determine job scope.
- Develop detailed workplans for efficient scheduling and execution.
- Maintain plant history files and technical documents to prevent delays.
- Improve maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
- Estimate costs and time for turnaround or maintenance work.
- Write procedures to ensure defect-free maintenance quality.
- Maintain accurate equipment maintenance history and job records.
- Ensure up-to-date technical information on processes, plant, and equipment.
- Improve planning, purchasing, data management, and job reporting systems.
- Ensure maintenance work is planned to meet critical dates.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience, with qualifications such as an interprovincial Red Seal in a Mechanical Trade, a Technical Diploma, or a Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in maintenance or turnaround planning, particularly in an industrial setting.
- Strong skills in planning, budgeting, and estimation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant CMMS (an asset).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Planning certification and leadership experience are considered assets.
