The Pipeline Representative is responsible for planning and coordinating the logistical flows in and out of G3’s port terminal(s). Working closely with operations and the commercial team to ensure logistics plans are in place for all business – with the goal to have the right product in the right place at the right time. The focus should be on communication, execution and bringing a proactive approach to managing logistics with a commercial mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure daily communication with trading, country/port facilities, quality assurance, and pipeline coordinators to develop and execute logistical plans within the G3 pipeline.
- Provide accurate and timely analysis of logistical risk associated with forward sales and opportunities within G3 logistical capacity constraints.
- Create, report, analyze and effectively communicate G3’s logistical position basis current sales and forecast volumes.
- Provide timely guidance to rail coordinators and country/port facilities regarding priorities for product movement and timing with the goal of optimizing G3’s logistical pipelines.
- Be proactive in identifying and finding solutions to logistical issues or opportunities.
- Provide accurate and timely logistical costings to support commercial activities.
- Prepare current and forward vessel blends to ensure vessel shipping application meets required sales specifications.
- Collect, analyse, and report logistical performance data and key performance measures.
- Provide support and coverage on various logistical execution roles on an as‑required basis.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Post-secondary degree in Agriculture, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of logistics experience or equivalent.
- Marine logistics experience an asset.
